- The headquarters of the Port of Singapore Authority moved here from PSA Towers, now known as 3 HarbourFront Place.
- It was built in two stages, with the first 16 storeys ready for occupancy in late 1985, and the rest in 1986.
- It is the first building in Singapore to offer an access floor on every storey. The access floor is a double flooring with a 15 cm gap used mainly for wiring.
