Facts
- The building is designed as a pair of twin towers connected on every floor through glass bridges. On every 9th floor there is a skygarden where the glass bridges span the entire width of the building forming individual 32 meter high atriums.
- Deutsche Post AG rests atop a reinforced-concrete slab supported by 60 piles.
- The cladding is a double skin curtain wall. The inner skin, which surrounds each individual tower, is built out of unitized panels with automatic opening vents. The outer skin is hanging stainless steel mullions suspended through cantilever brackets on every 9th floor and bound by windneedles back to the inner skin, with clamped glass and automatic vents for natural ventilation.
- Tallest office building in North-Rhine-Westfalia.
