- The scheme originally featured a spire rising to a height of 149.4m, but this has not been incorporated into the version being built.
- On 19th July 2006, planning permission was granted to increase the height of Tower 1 from 139.4m with 46 storeys to 147.4m with 48 storeys.
- The tower features private residential apartments and penthouses, a health spa, shops, bars and restaurants, and a cocktail bar on the top floor.
- The building includes a private cinema for residents and their guests.
- As of 2005, the top penthouse is priced at £10,000,000.
- Upon topping out, Pan Peninsula East Tower became the tallest all-residential building in the United Kingdom, surpassing the three towers of London's Barbican by 24 metres.
