- Built as a speculative office building, this structure was reconfigured for use as the L. Strauss & Company Department Store in 1945-1946.
- It was owned by the original developer until the early 1980s when it was purchased by the city of Indianapolis. After sitting vacant for several years, it was demolished to make way for Circle Centre.
