- The concrete core reached full height on 11th April 2003. The official topping-out of the structure occurred on 24th September 2003, at which point No.1 West India Quay became London's 21st tallest high-rise building.
- The bathrooms are modular and were constructed off-site to ensure high levels of sound insulation between the hotel rooms and private apartments.
- The internal areas are used as follows; floors 1-12 house a Marriott International Hotel, of which floors 9-12 house 47 serviced suites and; floors 13-32 house 158 apartments.
