• This romanesque church features two prominent towers at the front and a large dome at the rear above the altar. The classical pediment was added at a later date, to the designs of Samuel Hannaford & Sons.
• The former Mutter Gottes Kirche anchors a large historic district of the same name. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
