- The site was cleared in late 2005 and construction progressed only as far as an extensive pit, until the project ran into zoning difficulties.
- The pit on the site often fills up with rainwater and is the subject of mockery of local residents, which refer to it as "Lake Related", named after the site's developers. The subject even received coverage in the NY Times.
