This building was once owned by the Hulman Family of Terre Haute, Indiana, owners of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The former Mutual Home Savings Association Building was Dayton's tallest from 1931 until 1969, when 40 West 4th Centre was completed.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
