• José Antonio Samaranch, International Olympic Committee ex-President, had his office in this building.
• The building features two exterior emergency stairs, in the north and south facade.
• The building's volumetric study was made by the architect Jose Antonio Coderch, who did the Escola Tecnica Superior d'Arquitectura and the Trace Center, near the tower. The initial project did not include the top 'hat' and the turning sign of 'la Caixa'.
