• The offices of the Mary K. O'Connor Process Safety Center and other staff offices are located on the second floor.
• Graduate student offices and laboratories fill the third through seventh floors.
• The ground floor is home to six classrooms, several computer laboratories, and a 600 square foot computer cluster room.
• Texas A&M University's Chemical Engineering Department moved into the building for the start of the Fall 2004 semester.
• The largest private donation toward construction of the building was a $5 million gift from Jack E. Brown, the building's namesake, and his wife, Frances. Brown is a co-founder of Wagner & Brown, Ltd.
