- The Georgia Pacific Center was built on the old site of the Loew's Grand Theater, famous as the grand opening viewing site of "Gone with the Wind" in 1939.
- The Grand Office Building also occupied part of this site directly on Peachtree Street.
- The Hotel Aragon was on the southeast corner of Peachtree and Ellis Streets.
