Structure in General
- Originally proposed at 461 feet, 29 stories above ground (3 below) and over 1.16 million square feet in 1972.
- Only 51 percent of the Federal Reserve building's total square footage is above ground. The rest of the building (including security vaults) is underground.
- In response to the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, the building has completed a security overhaul including a guard station at the driveway and a reinforced retaining wall along 7th Street.
