- This small stone tower stands on top of Enger Hill, rising 531 feet above the surface of Lake Superior.
- It memorializes Bert Enger, a Norwegian immigrant who donated all of the land that now makes up Enger Park, Duluth's largest.
- It was dedicated June 15, 1939 by Crown Prince Olav and Crown Princess Martha of Norway.
- The tower offers panoramic views of Central Duluth, the Duluth-Superior Harbor, the North Shore, and the western tip of Lake Superior.
