- The building was designed as a companion to the "Seven Sisters" ( Vysotniye Zdaniya) built in the 1950's.
- Another new building in Moscow with a similar design concept is Triumph-Palace.
- Recreational facilities in the building include: aquapark equipped with hydromassage tubs, waterslides, solarium, universal gymnasium, 10 track bowling center, billiards rooms.
- Edelweiss is the first project of "The New Circle of Moscow" municipal program. According to the program, about 60 high-rise multi-functional residential complexes will be built around the middle-distance-belt area of the city, at the plots approved by Moscow Architecture Committee.
