Facts
- In 1968 CN revealed a massive downtown development plan. This was above and beyond the existing CN Tower built in 1966. The plan called for multiple developments on CN's 104 Avenue right of way.
- This "pylon" building was envisioned to have a core of 800 feet around which floors of office space could be built as needed. The skyscraper's frame was intended to look as a finished building unto itself regardless of the current floor count.
- It is rumoured the concept was first brought to CN engineers by Roger Graham, then vice-president of CN for the mountain region. However, very little ever became of CN's massive plans.
