- For a number of years, the building's profile was used as part of the logo for the Globe Life & Accident Insurance Company, which has offices in the building.
- For a very short period in 1931, this was the tallest building in Oklahoma City. It lost the title to the nearby First National Center.
- Competed in "The Race" with the First National Center to see who could get to the top of Oklahoma City's skyline first, and won.
