For a number of years, the building's profile was used as part of the logo for the Globe Life & Accident Insurance Company, which has offices in the building.
For a very short period in 1931, this was the tallest building in Oklahoma City. It lost the title to the nearby First National Center.
Competed in "The Race" with the First National Center to see who could get to the top of Oklahoma City's skyline first, and won.
