Structure in General
- The Buckhead Grand isn't really on Peachtree Road, but on a nameless street that connects Peachtree Road with the Buckhead Loop.
- The architectural renderings of the "Regent at Tower Place" had shown a closed roof, but the developers, akin to the Chrysler Building surprise, opted for an open-roof triangular element to top off the building.
- Originally advertised as 35 stories, the Buckhead Grand is now said to be 36 stories even though it really has 38. The lower floor counts may have helped lessen opposition from local neighborhood groups, who protested after the Park Avenue Condominium (44 stories) was built near their homes.
