Facts
- Original designs showed two towers, connected by the existing central core of the only tower built, flanking both the East 9th Street and Euclid Avenue facades of George B. Post & Sons' landmark Ameritrust Rotunda completed in 1909.
- Had the second phase of the tower been constructed, 1010 Euclid Avenue would have required demolition.
- Despite being designed by one of the most important modernist architects, the Cuyahoga County Commissioners voted on March 29, 2006 to demolish this tower to make way for a new county office building.
