- The building is connected by multiple skyways over Locust Street to the Famous-Barr Department Store in the Railway Exchange Building, just to the south.
- The building and shopping arcade is connected by skyway over Washington Avenue to the Stix, Baer & Fuller Dry Goods Company Building, just to the north.
- When it opened in 1985, St. Louis Centre was the largest urban mall in the country which included 120 retail stores, 20 restaurants in the food court and it was anchored by Famous-Barr and Dillards Department Stores.
- There are plans to convert the former mall into 120 condominiums, parking and 24,384 m² of street level retail space.
- The former May Company, which was headquartered in St. Louis, was going to develop the mall in the 1970's as the May Mall, but they handed over development to the Simon Group.
