550 West Jackson
Structure in General
- The structure incorporates the framework of a 4-story 1962 building designed by Friedman, Alschuler & Sincere. Originally 11 additional floors were planned over the middle section of that structure.
- Two 54-foot spires were included in the design, at the west corners of the curved roof. If these are ever installed, the building's height will increase to 330 feet.
- The setbacks at the 13th floor are used as roof gardens.
