- This was the tallest building in Dayton for about one year, until the Kettering Tower, then known as the Winters Bank Building, was topped-out in 1970.
- The tower only has windows on the wider north and south faces.
- It replaced the circa-1922 RKO Keith's Theatre, with interiors by famous Chicago architects Rapp & Rapp.
- Originally called Grant-Deneau Towers, the names of the building's developers.
