33 Canada Square
Structure in General
- 33 Canada Square is linked over 18 floors to the neighbouring 25 Canada Square, to create the 170,000m² (1.8m ft²) Citigroup Centre.
- There are no services in the main part of the building, so that maximum space is free for the Bank's activities. Thus liberated, it contains not only all the office accommodation but also two 30,000-square-foot trading floors, a staff restaurant, an auditorium and a gymnasium plus, on four further levels below plaza level, car parking and IT support facilities.
- There is also ample entrance and circulation space, with a superb main atrium flanked by secondary atria which are stepped back, to allow light and air into the depths of the main office space.
