About the Company
Manntech emerged as an independent company from Mannesmann Facade lifts in 1999 and continues a strong tradition of product development and supply of permanent façade access systems to the world market. Since the first installation of 1959 more than 7000 Building Maintenance Unit (BMU) systems have been completed providing façade access solutions with hoisting heights up to 450m, including world landmark buildings and structures.
From the modern factory opened in October 2002 Manntech employees 100 skilled engineers to design and manufacture the highest quality and most technically advanced systems available; covering the entire range of facade maintenance equipment. The development of specialized BMU’s for buildings with highly sophisticated architecture is one of our design departments special areas of experience.
Manntech has partners in all key markets world-wide, each specializing in permanent access equipment and with many years experience. With this ongoing commitment to partnerships Manntech has maintained 4 decades of excellent representation, consulting and product support. In Germany the company maintains a service network with the best reputation for after sales service and product support. Manntech opened a new office in Hongkong 2004.
IN 1993 Manntech achieved accreditation to the quality standard ISO 9001, this guarantees state-of-the-art design and manufacturing plus direct benefits in all products service life. Manntech‘s BMU electric is also listed in UL 508 A, the platforms and the hoist are listed in UL 1322 and 1323 for the US standards requirements.
