Rissa Rissa is a municipality consisiting of several smaller towns and villages, and is situated on the Fosen penninsula bordering Leksvik, Verran, Åfjord and Bjugn.

Rissa has an important history due to a old royal farm and a monastery situated near the centre of the municipality. Today Rissa are surviving on agriculture, industry and some business sustenance.
