Balneário Camboriú The beach resort is in the State of Santa Catarina. 1.5 million tourists pour into the town every summer. Most of them are from Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. The city's skyline resembles that of a larger metropolis. During the winter months in July and August, Camboriú appears deserted in comparison.

After 4 p.m. there's no sunbathing possible on the beach because it is overshadowed by the high-rise hotels.
