About Fort Lauderdale
Located 25 miles north of Miami and 40 miles south of West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale lies near the center of more than five million people on Florida’s Southeast coast. Fort Lauderdale was the favorite hot spot for spring breakers well into the 1980s and remains popular for them today. Fort Lauderdale is considered a downtown business district, a beachfront, and a nightlife mecca for Broward County and its surroundings. Fort Lauderdale is home to Port Everglades, one of the largest freight and cruise ports in the United States. Metro Cities
