About
Kiryat Ata
Blossomed in the 1960's around the famous Ata Frabric Factory, and by 1969 it had gained City Status.
The city is situated in the Zvulun Valley, 13 km northeast to Haifa and ajacened to Kiryat
Bialik, with Kiryat Ata Grove, nearby.
After decades of negative growth, with the vast immigration wave to Israel on the early 90's, the city has grown rapidly, adding new residential suburbs such as Givat Tal.
The city is expected to almost double in size to 100,000 by 2050.
