Facts
Hulley Tower was built by Stetson's second president, Dr. Lincoln Hulley, to house the Eloise Chimes, four large and seven smaller rough cast bells ranging from 575 to 3,000 pounds. |
A 2007 engineering assessment found that weather damage had compromised the structural integrity of the tower, requiring its demolition down to the 22-foot high stone base. |
