Recreations of the original bronze doors removed in 1966 fabricated by Ellison Bronze were recast and installed in 2003.
The deco bronze sunburst detailing above the main entrance was removed in 1966. It was recreated by sculptor Tom Queoff and installed in 2003.
The 21-foot tall neon flame atop the tower was added in 1956.
Topped by a weather light in the shape of a natural gas flame.
The exterior materials graduate from dark granite at the base to red and pink brick in the midsection and cream color brick at the top. Copper panels decorate the spandrels.
