The tower was unoccupied and inaccessible for 14 years before Marriott converted it into an 80 room hotel.
Replaced Boston's original Custom House, which was completed in 1847.
The famous clock in the upper tower is 22 feet wide.
Tallest building in Boston for 49 years; surpassed in 1964 by the Prudential Tower.
The second floor of the lobby features a rotating selection of exhibits from the Peabody Essex Museum.
