Features and Amenities
One of the city's famous buildings
Facts
Huntington Center was inspired by the existing Ohio Statehouse on the State House Lawn.
Covered walkways exist at the second level. They connect to the existing Huntington Bank Building to the north and to the Center's attached low-rise hotel and parking facilities to the west.
The glass and and steel multi-atrium core is recessed from the red granite-clad office complex, creating an overall effect of two towers linked by glass.
A nine-story lobby affords tenants and visitors an expansive view of the surrounding city.
The office tower is situated along an axial corridor that originates with the Ohio State Capitol building to the east and terminates at the Scioto River to the west.
The top of the building rises two stories in a series of stepped greenhouses to create penthouse office space.
The Huntington Center replaced the Neil House.
This is the tallest building completed in Columbus during the 1980s.
