Facts
One of the most physically impressive slab-shaped skyscrapers in Chicago.
Built on the same corner as the Roman Catholic cathedral, this project was named Cathedral Place in the early planning stages.
The ground floor contains a natural foods supermarket on the Huron Street side.
The development is one of the only rental apartment towers constructed in Chicago during the 1990's.
The facades incorporate the decorative motif of a square inscribed with radial divisions: a feature used historically in public buildings and bridges in Chicago, including the Field Museum and City Hall.
