Two buildings, One Public Square and 33 Public Square, were demolished in 1990 to make way for this project. The site remains undeveloped and currently houses a parking lot.
This project would have become the tallest in Cleveland and one of only a few buildings in the United States over 1000 feet.
In addition to the office space, the building would have contained a 484-room Hyatt Regency Hotel.
