Waterfront Park Place is the first residential highrise in Louisville located directly on the Ohio River.
The last piece of the steel structure was placed atop the structure in an August 19, 2003 topping-off ceremony.
The residential units are a mix of owner-occupied condominiums and renter-occupied apartments.
The building is the tallest primarily owner-occupied residential building in the State of Kentucky, and the tallest overlooking the Ohio River, but it will surpassed by The Ascent at Roebling's Bridge in Covington sometime in 2007.
