1 Peking Road reached full height during the week beginning 7th November 2002, with the removal of its main roof height crane unit.
SCMP reports that the developers paid HK$1.24 billion (US$159 million) for the 23,680 sq ft property at a government auction in 1998.
The first skyscraper in Hong Kong and one of the first in the world to power majority part of the building with solar energy.
Won the top architectural award from the Hong Kong Institute of Architects for its aesthetics and its environmentally friendly design.
