This building is similar in design to its predecessor River View I except that it is taller and has an additional lobe at the southwest corner with a rounded end. |
Original plans called for a spire near the southwest corner which would have increased the height to 448 feet. |
River View II is located next to Centennial Fountain, an intermittent water arch with a cascading fountain by the riverwalk. |
Groundbreaking took place in July 2001. After reaching seven stories in February 2002, construction was put on hold for more than one year. |
